Lauryl Eddlemon - "Party Girl"

from $35.00

Artist: Lauryl Eddlemon
Title: “Party Girl”

From the Artist:

”I studied fine art, art history and graphic design at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. After earning a Bachelor's degree in graphic design I worked for many years as the Design Director at Southwest Art magazine. My husband and I live primarily in Austin, Texas with our two tabby cats but we spend our summers in lovely Santa Fe, New Mexico where I continue to my painting studies.”

How has covid19 affected you?

”I worked hard for months preparing my paintings for the busy Spring show season. I was thrilled to be accepted to four prestigious exhibits, all of which have been cancelled or postponed indefinitely. My print design and illustration business has also taken a hit as many books and publications have been suspended for lack or advertising revenue. It's been so disheartening but I'm determined to use the extra free time to improve my painting skills and build up my portfolio.”
