About the Artist:

Artist and designer living in Brooklyn for 8 years. She attended Parsons where she earned her MFA in Design + Technology. When she's not working her 9-5 job as a UX designer, she spends her time drawing and ideating on future steps of turning her drawings into textiles. Her main focus as an artist revolves around patterns, composition, and detail.

How has covid19 affected you?

“It's affected me in many ways, but in relation to my art practice it's been made me realize how beneficial drawing is to my daily life. I find drawing/painting extremely meditative and I feel lucky that I have this tool set available to get me through challenging periods. “ - Kate Watkins
