About the Artist:

”Diana loves and is inspired by words as art, and looks no further than the streets of Queens for inspiration. There is always something to say, believe, about front the rooftops. Culture and street art are intertwined. Words move. No matter where you turn you can stumble on an impromptu poetry slam in a coffee shop or a pack of artists sketching the sculptures in the park, provoking novelists to study their walk and talk and hand gestures. Diana loves observing people, performing, painting singing and studying, always looking for the interconnectedness and play that makes us crash into each other and feel alive.”

How has covid19 affected you?

”It has affected my work for sure. I am a yoga teacher and all of the studios I teach at have been temporarily closed. It has brought our community together in a different way through online classes and workshops, which is new for me and many of us, but it’s been fun to learn. Even though we are at home, we are fighting to stay connected and I find that to be quite beautiful.”
