Kyle Toorie

Bio

Kyle Toorie was born on January 6, 1988 in Brooklyn, New York. Kyle graduated Parsons School of Design. He works primarily with marker, ink, and his iPad. He has been featured in Sega’s Yakuza 6 Artbook. He has exhibited work in Solas Studio’s SMUTgallery Exhibition.

Artist Statement

My two main lines of work consists of comic book illustration and nude portraiture and pinups. I have always held a distinct fascination with the human form and movement. Years as a martial artist and weight lifter have improved my understanding of what I am able to draw and create. Aside from that I am mainly influenced by the Italian Renaissance Masters of old which are reflected in my work.
