How has your locale affected you – your life – your sense of self – your perception of what is important? How has it influenced what you strive for, what you reject, what you love, or what you long for?
Geography as Destiny, an exhibition curated by Adrienne Moumin, seeks to explore these questions and challenge the emotional, symbolic and metaphorical meanings we assign to the geography that shapes our lives.
The exhibit will include painting, sculpture, mosaic, and collage. Artists included in the show are from New York, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Berkeley, and Finland.
